What Customers Say About Playtex Embrace Breast Pump System:

I'm sorry, it's a great product, but not including at least one nipple is simply inexcusable. WTF Playtex. But Playtex gets a WTF for including everything you would need for a feeding except Bottle Nipples. That's comparable to going to a ball game, buying a hot dog, and then having to go to another vending stand to get ketchup, which you have to pay extra for. The pump works great. The three storage bag system is great. You include a car power adapter, two bottles, drop in liners, two storage bottles, and you can't throw in a.50 cent nipple.

I use it at least 2 times a day when he sleeps so long and misses out on regular feedings. This pump has been wonderful. I would recommend this pump to anyone who will need one for going back to work or for having a convenient supply of milk around. I will be going back to work soon, but used this pump starting at one week postpartum. It is comfortable and easy to use.I breastfeed and suppement with a bottle at night so my baby sleeps longer. I am able to pump enough breast milk to easily store in the refrigerator or freezer.

The silicone cups are so much more comfortable, and the areola massage works much better for me than the nipple-tugging on the Medela. As I mentioned, I get three times more milk per pump than before, and it's alot less painful. Worth it. Yes, it's louder- but I think anything is louder than the Symphony. It was on clearance at a local department store, so I got it.I kid you not, I get at least THREE TIMES more milk per pumping session with this than I ever did with the Symphony. That worked fine, but I knew I had to look at purchasing my own eventually. After the birth of my baby boy, I rented the Medela Symphony from the hospital. I use the DropIns system and love it, so I figured I'd give this a try. The power cord and tubing are a little bit shorter than I had hoped, resulting in less flexibility due to having to locate a plug, but honestly that's not a big deal.I'm thrilled that I purchased this-- it packs up so nicely and comes with anything you could possibly need.

This pump is sooo easy to just throw it together and get pumping. I have only tried a Medela pump in addition to this one, and I didn't like it because of it's initial complexity. You need a pipe cleaner to really get it (unless I'm missing something). This pump is simple, efficient and less expensive. I like it so much that I bought a back-up one of the exact same model.I like the drop-ins system of transferring breastmilk to bottles. My one complaint is that there is an area that is hard to clean in the 4 piece nipple apparatus.

For the money I would go with another brand. Once again they sent me a new motor. When my daughter was five months old the second pump went out. It has been over a month and I still haven't heard anything. The first Embrace pump I had suddenly went out on me before my daughter was a week old.

My baby sitter also had this pump with her first child and had the same thing happen but when her second one went out they refused to send her another saying they had already sent one. The lady on the phone was friendly and told me this pump was made to withstand more use than I was giving it. I called and they sent me another but in the mean time I was told to purchase a hand pump and send the receipt in for reimbursement. This pump worked well when it worked and that is the only reason I gave it two stars. I sent the receipt in and never was reimbursed.

I asked about the previous reimbursement and was told she would look into it and get back with me.
